Southport
is a smaller seaside resort 25kms north of Liverpool. There
are many things to do there. There is the Splashworld
Water Park, the Ocean
Plaza Complex, the Botanic Gardens, Mini Golf, and Pitch and Putt and
the Victorian Shopping arcades of tree-lined Lord Street.
Blackpool
is 25 km north of Southport and is another seaside resort though
altogether larger than Southport. Of the many things to visit there, the most
popular are; The Pleasure
Beach, the Tower and Circus,
Louis Tussaud's Waxworks,
The Sea Life Centre, Blackpool
Zoo, and Stanley Park
with it's beautiful gardens and Boating Lake.
All of our Centres are in the North West of England an area famous for Music, Football, and friendly welcome.
Our Three Main Centres are in Southport, Liverpool, and Blackpool. We also have a small centre in Formby for our "English with Golfing" courses (see courses).
Liverpool
is famous for the Beatles and its two premiership football
teams. There are so many things to do and see there that it is difficult to
list. There are the two outstanding Cathedrals (Anglican
and Catholic). The
World Museum, the National
Museum of Slavery, The
National Conservation Centre, the Walker
Art Gallery, the FACT Centre, and
the Tate Gallery. The Albert
Dock, Liverpool
One Complex and the world-famous Cavern
Club are just some of the things that can be visited. Along with the oldest
Chinatown in Europe (see photo).
