CAMELOT Another theme park, more local this time but with the added attraction of a live Jousting show with Knights of old doing battle for the entertainment of the visitors. and a rare-breeds zoo and falconry display.
NATIONAL COAL MINE MUSEUM Ride deep underground on the pithead lift and have a guded tour of the coal face. There is plenty to see on the surface and then time to visit the famous Bury Market on the way home.
THE LAKE DISTRICT We make a short stop in Lancaster on the way and then visit Brock Hole and Lake Windermere. There's plenty of time to take in the atmosphere of the land of Wordsworth and Beatrix Potter.
