| Our courses take place in
one of the Liverpool University buildings near to the Cathedral of Christ
the King.
On Arrival, all students are given a placement test to establish their
level of English. There are normally 3 hours of English lessons each
morning followed by activities or excursions in the afternoon. The lessons
for each class are divided between two Teachers. A main teacher, who
will teach the first and third lesson, and a second teacher who teaches
lesson two.

We tend to concentrate on
communicative English but all aspects of English learning are covered
in order to maximise the learning potential of your stay in England.
On Saturday there is usually an All-day excursion to somewhere a little
farther away such as Chester or Manchester.

We also organise one evening
activity per week such as karaoke evenings or quiz nights.

Accommodation is with host families on a full-board basis. Lots of
our host families have hosted for many years and we have many students
who return year after year to stay with the same families. We only place
one student of each nationality with a host family unless otherwise
requested and we try to cater for any specific requests that a student
may have such as a vegetarian diet etc. But the one thing we can promise
is a warm welcome from all of our host families and staff.
